Description

Kadali Vivaha Manglik Dosha Nivarana Puja is a Vedic ritual designed to mitigate the negative effects of Manglik Dosha (also known as Mangal Dosha) and bring harmony to a male person’s marital prospects. In Vedic astrology, Manglik Dosha occurs when the planet Mars (Mangal) is placed in certain houses of an individual’s birth chart, particularly the 1st, 4th, 7th, 8th, or 12th house. This dosha is believed to cause delays in marriage, marital disputes, and even potential issues in relationships. The Kadali Vivaha Puja is specifically performed to counteract these doshas and ensure a peaceful and successful marriage.

The term “Kadali” refers to the banana tree, and “Vivaha” means marriage. In this ritual, a banana tree is symbolically married to the individual performing the puja. The banana tree represents the bride, and the individual (especially a male) symbolizes the groom. This act of symbolic marriage to the banana tree is done to neutralize the ill effects of Mars and pacify the Manglik Dosha.

Ritual Procedure:
Preparation of Puja Area: The puja area is prepared by setting up an altar with the idol of Lord Vishnu, Lord Shiva, or Lord Ganesha. The banana tree is decorated and placed on the altar, representing the bride. The participant, typically the person affected by Manglik Dosha, sits before the altar.

Invocation of Lord Ganesha: The puja begins with chanting mantras to Lord Ganesha, who is invoked to remove any obstacles and ensure the smooth completion of the ritual.

Kalasha and Offerings: A kalasha (holy water pot) is placed on the altar. Offerings of flowers, fruits, rice, milk, honey, and jaggery are presented to the banana tree. These offerings symbolize nourishment, fertility, and blessings for the individual’s future marriage.

Mantra Chanting: Specific mantras related to Mars (Mangal) are chanted to neutralize the dosha. Prayers are made to Lord Vishnu, Lord Shiva, and Mars, asking for their blessings to remove any negative planetary influences. These mantras are believed to pacify the malefic effects of Mangal Dosha.

Fire Ritual (Homa): A homa (sacred fire ritual) is performed by offering ghee, herbs, and other auspicious items into the fire while chanting specific mantras to purify the individual’s energies and neutralize the dosha.

Prasad and Final Blessings: After the completion of the puja, prasad (blessed food) is distributed. The priest gives blessings for a prosperous, happy, and harmonious marriage, free from any obstacles.

Significance:
The Kadali Vivaha Manglik Dosha Nivarana Puja is a powerful and highly effective remedy for individuals suffering from Manglik Dosha. The symbolic marriage of the banana tree serves as a divine remedy to counterbalance the malefic effects of Mars. The puja helps dissolve any potential delays or obstacles in marriage, promotes marital peace, and enhances overall well-being. By seeking divine intervention through this ritual, individuals can look forward to a harmonious marital life, free from the influences of Manglik Dosha. This puja is often recommended for those facing challenges in their love life or marriage due to the planetary affliction of Mars.
